RESERVATION POLICY

Hotel General Terms, Payment, Cancellation, and Refund Policies.

Applicable for Online Bookings made through the Hotel’s Official Website.

By confirming the online booking process, you authorize Hotel La Mariposa (J & A Sueños del Pacífico SRL) to charge the corresponding amount to your registered credit card. If there are any issues with the credit card transaction during the booking process, please provide a new card to ensure confirmation.

To immediately guarantee your reservation, a 50% deposit of the total amount is required upon confirmation. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the same credit card on record, 30 days prior to the check-in date of the reservation.

Please note that only reservations covered by a deposit will be validated, and any reservations not guaranteed may be canceled without notice.

During the Holiday Season (from December 22nd until January 2nd), full payment of the reservation is required due to our Special Payment Policy.

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be done in writing form and get a written acknowledgment from the Hotel Reservation Department to be processed.

GREEN SEASON (From April 16th until December 15th)
• Cancellation Request Received: At least 15 days or more prior to the arrival date will be a $100 USD of penalty fee per room.
• Cancellation Request Received: Between 14 days and 4 days before the arrival date, will be 50% of the total amount of the reservation.
• Cancellation Request Received: Within 3 days or less prior to the arrival date, there is NO refund due.
• Late Bookings (reservations made within 3 days prior to the arrival date) are non-refundable after the payment has been processed and pay the total amount as a cancellation penalty fee.

HIGH SEASON (From January 2nd until April 15th)
• Cancellation Request Received: At least 30 days or more prior to the arrival date will be a $100 USD of penalty fee per room.
• Cancellation Request Received: Between 29 days and 15 days before the arrival date, will be 50% of the total amount of the reservation.
• Cancellation Request Received: Within 14 days or less prior to the arrival date, there is NO refund due.
• Late Bookings (reservations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date) are non-refundable after the payment has been processed and pay the total amount as a cancellation penalty fee.

PEAK SEASON (From December 16th until January 2nd)
• Cancellation Request Received: At least 45 days or more prior to the arrival date will be a $100 USD of penalty fee per room.
• Cancellation Request Received: Between 44 days and 30 days before the arrival date, will be 50% of the total amount of the reservation.
• Cancellation Request Received: Within 29 days or less prior to the arrival date, there is NO refund due.
• Late Bookings (reservations made within 29 days prior to the arrival date) are non-refundable after the payment has been processed and pay the total amount as a cancellation penalty fee.

During the Holidays Season (From December 22nd until January 2nd) Full Payment of the reservation is required due to a Special Payment Policy.

NO-SHOW is Non-Refundable regardless of the reason.
No refunds will be issued for unused room nights due to early departures, regardless of the reason.

The Hotel will refund immediately the money that corresponds to the same credit card that was originally used to pay for the booking, only if the refund is applicable and adheres to the policies stated above.

FORCE MAJEURE CLAUSE: La Mariposa Hotel shall not be held liable for any failure to fulfill the arrangements specified herein that are directly or indirectly caused by conditions beyond human control. This includes but is not limited to, acts of God, detentions, strikes, riots, civil disturbances, quarantines, weather conditions, traffic delays, flight delays, government restrictions, or regulations. La Mariposa Hotel assumes no responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property resulting from any of the aforementioned circumstances. Customers are responsible for any losses, damages, or additional expenses incurred as a result. It is assumed that customers have access to means of protection, such as travel insurance, to safeguard themselves against such contingencies and have taken appropriate measures in this regard.
